1. Who we are
ValaxScrub ("we", "us", "our") is a script protection and licensing platform for Roblox developers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our website and services.
2. Information we collect
When you sign in via Discord OAuth we receive your Discord user ID, username, avatar, and email address. We store this in our database to identify your account. We also collect usage data — such as script execution logs, license key activity, and API request metadata — to operate and improve the service. We collect your IP address for rate-limiting and abuse prevention.
3. How we use your information
We use your data to provide the service (authentication, key validation, analytics dashboards), to detect and prevent abuse, to communicate important service updates, and to improve our product. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
4. Data storage and security
Your data is stored on servers in the European Union and United States. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Passwords are not stored — authentication is handled entirely by Discord OAuth. We retain account data for as long as your account is active, or up to 90 days after deletion.
5. Cookies and local storage
We use session cookies to keep you signed in. We use localStorage to persist your theme preference. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or analytics beacons. You can clear your cookies and localStorage at any time from your browser settings without losing your account data.
6. Third-party services
We use Discord for authentication. Discord's privacy policy applies to that interaction. We may use third-party infrastructure providers (cloud hosting, CDN) who process data on our behalf under data processing agreements. We do not share personally identifiable information with any third party for their own marketing purposes.
7. Your rights
You may request a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to delete your account and associated data, or ask us to correct inaccurate data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Children
Our service is not directed at children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify active users by email or in-app notice when we make material changes. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
